Stefano Lubiana Wines is one of Tasmania's pioneering cool-climate wineries, established in 1990 by Stefano and Monique Lubiana in the Derwent Valley. The winery's story is built on a rich family winemaking heritage that began in Istria in the late 1800s before continuing in Australia, where successive generations have remained dedicated to the craft. Today, Stefano Lubiana Wines is recognised as one of Australia's leading producers of estate-grown Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and sparkling wines, with every wine reflecting the unique character of its biodynamic vineyards and the remarkable terroir of the Derwent Valley.
A steadfast commitment to biodynamic viticulture and minimal-intervention winemaking lies at the heart of the winery's philosophy. As one of Australia's first certified biodynamic vineyards, Stefano Lubiana Wines believes that healthy soils and balanced ecosystems are fundamental to producing wines of purity, vitality and site expression. In the winery, gentle handling, wild fermentation where appropriate, thoughtful maturation and a restrained approach allow each vineyard and vintage to speak for itself. Hosted by Marco and Phoebe Lubiana, this masterclass offers a unique opportunity to explore the history, philosophy and evolution of Stefano Lubiana Wines through the lens of the family's next generation.

Policy for all events are outlined below:
Event Changes: If unforeseen circumstances require us to change or cancel an event, Mercato will happily reimburse the full cost of your ticket.
Cancellations: 7 days or more from event: Mercato will provide store credit equivalent to the full cost of your ticket for cancellations that occur from the time you purchase your ticket up to 7 days before the event.
Within 7 days of event: Event bookings cancelled within 7 days of the event date are strictly non-refundable.
