The wine shows aromas of ripe red cherry, plum, rose petals, violet, tobacco, liquorice and alpine herbs, with subtle earthy and leathery notes. On the palate it is rich and structured, with polished tannins, bright acidity and a long, savoury finish. A beautifully balanced Barolo suitable for cellaring, while also approachable with decanting. Perfect with braised meats, wild game, truffle-based dishes and aged cheeses.
