Meet the producer

Jacopo Maniaci

Founded in 2007 by the late Silvia Maestrelli, Tenuta di Fessina is a tribute to her deep connection with the volcanic landscape of Mount Etna. Captivated by the elegance and potential of Nerello Mascalese, Silvia dedicated herself to revealing the unique character of this extraordinary terroir, finding her home among Etna’s ancient lava flows, mineral-rich soils and dramatic mountain vineyards. Today, her legacy lives on through wines that capture the balance of earth, fire and altitude, crafted with respect for nature and a minimal-intervention approach. Renowned for their refined expressions of Carricante and Nerello Mascalese, Tenuta di Fessina produces wines of remarkable elegance, freshness and a true sense of place.
