Meet the producer
Founded in 1898 by Pietro Sartori in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, Sartori di Verona has spent more than five generations championing the wines and traditions of Verona. From the purchase of Villa Maria in 1924 to bottling its first Amarone in 1961, the family's story has been shaped by a deep connection to the land, a commitment to quality and a belief that great wines should express the identity of their territory. Today, the Sartori family continues to honour that legacy, combining traditional techniques such as appassimento with a spirit of innovation to craft wines that embody the elegance, character and enduring heritage of Valpolicella. Reius stands as the pinnacle of this philosophy, capturing the richness and complexity that have made Amarone one of Italy's most celebrated wines.
