A ruby red almost purplish shade, complex and rich floral scents of violet and rose and intense fruity aromas of cherries and sour black cherries with hints of spices. Well balanced with a smooth and slightly tannic finish. Pairs well with beef and venison dishes.

Producer Info: Monte Tondo is a family operated winery located in the rolling hills of Soave, Italy. Established by Aldo Magnabosco in 1970, three hectares of Garganega was purchased. Once Aldo's son, Gino entered the business in the 1970s, he built a larger and more technologically advanced cellar. Twenty years past and the winemaking duties were then overseen by siblings, Stefania, Luca and Marta Magnabosco. They have since purchased around another 40 hectares of vines. Monte Tondo produces a large range of whites, reds, sparkling wines, grappa and olive oil with the main focus on the white grape Garganega and the red blend Amarone.
