Gioso Langhe Nebbiolo 2021
Elegant and expressive, with layers of red cherry, raspberry and rose petal complemented by hints of liquorice, earth and spice. Bright acidity and fine tannins make this a beautifully balanced Nebbiolo that's equally suited to a dinner table or a quiet glass on its own.

Meet the producer
Gioso is the new wine project of Giorgio Sordo, created to celebrate the native varieties and distinctive terroirs of the Langhe and Roero. Growing from the Sordo family’s long connection with Piedmont, the range brings together wines from across the region, from Barolo and Barbaresco to Barbera, Dolcetto and Roero Arneis, with each wine designed to express the character of its variety and place.
The philosophy is rooted in tradition, passion and a dedication to quality, with carefully selected vineyards and traditional Piedmontese winemaking at its core. From the mineral-rich hills of Barolo to the sandy soils of Roero, Gioso offers a broader expression of the Langhe, combining the heritage of one of Piedmont’s historic wine families with a more accessible and contemporary approach.
