Meet the producer

Cascina Feipu dei Massaretti was founded by Agostino “Pippo” and Bice Parodi in the mid-1960s, when the family began replacing the fruit and vegetable crops of the Albenga plain with vines. They became pioneers in establishing Ligurian Pigato as a quality wine beyond the region, always guided by a belief in quality over quantity. Today, the family continues that legacy across around six hectares of vineyards, with the estate remaining firmly rooted in Albenga and its distinctive coastal landscape.

The vineyards are largely planted on sandy, alluvial soils, with the nearby Mediterranean and surrounding hills creating conditions that preserve freshness and aromatic character. Pigato remains the estate’s signature, alongside Rossese and Granaccia, with traditional family knowledge complemented by modern cellar techniques. The result is a range of wines that are delicate, expressive and unmistakably Ligurian, reflecting the family’s long-standing connection to the land.
