Peel back the layers and find darker fruits and dried herbs, with a nice bit of structure and freshness for a fuller red. No new oak, just fresh berries and plenty of good times. Producer Info: Biscaris is a small, family-run, biodynamic winery near Acate in the Vittoria region of Sicily, founded in 2004 by Antonia Guardabasso and managed with her son/daughter-in-law. They produce, by hand, about five hectares of, predominantly, Cerasuolo di Vittoria, Frappato, and Inzolia, using traditional, natural, and low-intervention methods.
