Meet the producer

Founded in 1894 by Arthur Agrapart in the Grand Cru village of Avize, Agrapart & Fils is one of Champagne’s most respected grower-producers and a benchmark for terroir-driven Champagne. Unlike many growers of the era who sold their fruit to the grandes maisons, the Agrapart family chose to bottle their own wines from the outset, establishing a philosophy centred on expressing the character of their vineyards. Across four generations, the family has remained devoted to the chalk-rich soils of the Côte des Blancs, steadily building a reputation for precision, authenticity and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Today, the estate is led by Pascal Agrapart alongside his son Ambroise, continuing a legacy more than 130 years in the making.

At the heart of Agrapart’s success is a profound respect for the vineyard. The family farms a collection of exceptional old-vine parcels across Avize, Cramant, Oger and Oiry, working with organic principles and a meticulous attention to soil health. In the cellar, intervention is kept to a minimum, allowing the character of each site to shine through. Native fermentations, extended lees ageing and restrained dosage result in Champagnes renowned for their purity, texture and mineral precision. Celebrated by collectors and sommeliers alike, Agrapart’s wines are among the finest expressions of the Côte des Blancs and a testament to the enduring connection between family, place and craftsmanship.
