The Krause Family

Vietti’s philosophy is rooted in a profound respect for the land, craftsmanship and the generations of knowledge that have shaped Piedmontese wine. For the family, making wine is an expression of the hands: an intimate understanding of each vineyard, patience through every growing season and a commitment to preserving the traditions that give the wines their identity. Rather than chasing trends, Vietti believes in continually refining its craft while allowing nature and the character of each site to lead the way.

Sustainability is woven into every part of this philosophy. Since 2007, Vietti has eliminated herbicides from its vineyards, working to minimise chemical intervention while protecting soil health, biodiversity and the wider ecosystem. The estate also reduces vineyard traffic, monitors its environmental impact and works with the natural rhythms of each vineyard, supported by decades of experience. This combination of tradition, patience and constant improvement defines Vietti today, producing wines that are deeply connected to their origins and built to stand the test of time.
