Champagne Laherte Frères is a family estate with roots stretching back to 1889, when Jean-Baptiste Laherte established the winery and planted vines around the village of Chavot. Seven generations later, the Laherte family remains deeply connected to the land, with the sixth and seventh generations working side by side to carry that heritage forward. Since 2005, Aurélien Laherte has brought new energy to the estate, following in the footsteps of his father Thierry and uncle Christian while continuing their shared pursuit of wines that are pure, sincere and authentic.

At Laherte Frères, winemaking is guided by a deep respect for the living landscape and a belief that Champagne should express the personality of its vineyards. The family follows natural, hands-on methods, working carefully across more than 75 individual plots and using plot-by-plot vinification, massal selection and minimal dosage to reveal their character. Around 80% of the wines are fermented and matured in oak, allowing the wines to develop naturally while preserving the individuality of each terroir. It is this combination of family heritage, sensitivity and a largely hands-off approach that gives Laherte Frères its distinctive identity as a grower Champagne house.
