Meet the producer

Trediberri is a young, family-run estate born from the friendship of three people: Nicola Oberto, his father Federico and Vladimiro Rambaldi. In 2007, the three acquired five hectares in Berri, at the western edge of La Morra, with a shared ambition to make Barolo that reflected their deep affection for the Langhe. Federico brought decades of experience from his time working alongside the celebrated Renato Ratti, while Vladimiro and Nicola brought fresh energy, curiosity and a willingness to forge their own path. The first Trediberri wine followed in 2011, and the estate has since grown while remaining deliberately small and artisanal.

There is an appealing simplicity to Trediberri’s philosophy: no grand family dynasty, no rigid winemaking formula, just a genuine love of wine and the place they call home. The family believes the best wines are those that bring balance, pleasure and drinkability together, adapting their approach in the cellar according to the vintage, variety and vineyard rather than following fixed rules. Rooted in La Morra and particularly the celebrated Rocche dell’Annunziata vineyard, Trediberri is a modern expression of Piedmontese winemaking, combining respect for tradition with the freedom to do things their own way.
