Giovanni Rosso is a family estate rooted in Serralunga d’Alba, where the Rosso family has been devoted to its vineyards since 1906. Across generations, the family has built an intimate understanding of some of Serralunga’s most celebrated crus, including Cerretta, La Serra, Broglio and Vignarionda, with a philosophy centred on patience, low yields and allowing each vineyard to express its own identity. Today, fourth-generation winemaker Davide Rosso leads the estate, bringing international experience and a Burgundian influence to a deeply Piedmontese tradition.

For Giovanni Rosso, the vineyard is always at the heart of the wine. Strength, structure and elegance define the estate’s Barolos, with careful vineyard work and respect for the seasons allowing the character of Serralunga to emerge naturally. In 2016, the family extended this philosophy to Mount Etna, acquiring vineyards near Solicchiata and exploring the distinctive character of Sicilian volcanic terroir, while remaining guided by the same belief in place, patience and quality."
