Antonio Fattori

Fattori is a fourth-generation family of winegrowers whose story began in the late 19th century, when Antonio Fattori and his father Daniele planted vines on the hills of Terrossa in the Veneto. After the First World War, Antonio returned to find his vineyards devastated by phylloxera, but refused to give up, rebuilding the family’s vines through years of hard work. That determination became part of the Fattori character, passed to his son Daniele and then to Antonio Fattori, who took over the winery in 1970. Growing up around the harvest and working among the vines from childhood, Antonio developed an enduring curiosity for wine, travelling, learning and experimenting while remaining deeply connected to the land of his ancestors.

Over more than half a century, Antonio has continued to evolve the family estate, investing his earnings into the cellar and new vineyards while never abandoning the Soave and Durello of his origins. His philosophy is rooted in trying to capture the essence of each territory, bringing together tradition and continuous research rather than following a fixed formula. Today, as the fourth generation begins to take its place, Fattori remains a deeply personal family project, guided by the same qualities that have carried it through generations: tenacity, humility, patience and an enduring curiosity about what the next harvest might reveal.
