With roots in the hills of Serralunga d'Alba dating back to the 1890s, the Giovanni Rosso estate is a story of heritage refined through vision. In the 1980s, Giovanni Rosso undertook a significant restructuring of the family vineyards, elevating both quality and precision in the estate's production. Today, his son Davide Rosso carries this legacy forward, guided by his philosophy that "wine should be a perfect copy of its terroir." This commitment is exemplified in the family's stewardship of the prized Vigna Rionda vineyard, which Davide inherited in 2010, as well as through special releases dedicated to his mother, Ester Canale-expressions that speak to both tradition and evolution.
Davide's pursuit of terroir has also led him beyond Piedmont, with the 2016 acquisition of a high-altitude vineyard on Mount Etna, perched at 750 metres above sea level. This expansion reflects a deep curiosity for site expression across Italy's diverse landscapes. As part of this masterclass hosted by Angas, guests will explore this philosophy through a curated tasting that offers a fresh and vibrant perspective on the estate's dedication to place, precision, and family heritage.

Event Changes: If unforeseen circumstances require us to change or cancel an event, Mercato will happily reimburse the full cost of your ticket.
Cancellations: 7 days or more from event: Mercato will provide store credit equivalent to the full cost of your ticket for cancellations that occur from the time you purchase your ticket up to 7 days before the event.
Within 7 days of event: Event bookings cancelled within 7 days of the event date are strictly non-refundable.
