Alessandro Rivetto is a fourth-generation winemaker from the Langhe, in the heart of Piedmont, where his family's connection to the land has shaped his approach to wine from an early age. Inspired by his grandfather Ercole and the philosophy of working in the vineyards with passion, humility and a smile, Alessandro has spent more than twenty years developing his own vision of what a modern Langhe estate can be. Today, his wines reflect the distinctive landscapes of La Morra, Serralunga d'Alba, Alba and the surrounding hills, with Nebbiolo and Barolo at the heart of the estate's identity.
At Azienda Agricola Alessandro Rivetto, tradition and contemporary thinking come together. Alessandro's portfolio encompasses Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Arneis and the indigenous Nascetta, with a particular focus on expressing the individual character of the Langhe's vineyards. His La Morra Wine Loft has become a place not simply for tasting wine, but for conversation, discovery and sharing the stories behind the wines. Working alongside his team, including longtime friend and winemaker Alessandro Bonelli, Rivetto continues to evolve the family legacy while remaining deeply connected to the land and traditions that define Piedmont.
It is this combination of heritage, place and a willingness to share the deeper story of wine that makes Alessandro Rivetto such a compelling guest for a masterclass. Hosted by Joe Ceravolo, the session will offer guests the opportunity to meet Joe personally and explore the wines, vineyards and philosophy behind one of Piedmont's distinctive modern producers. Joe's own passion for wine, education and bringing wine lovers together provides the perfect setting for an engaging conversation - one that goes beyond what is in the glass to explore the people, places and traditions that make the wines of the Langhe so captivating.

Event Changes: If unforeseen circumstances require us to change or cancel an event, Mercato will happily reimburse the full cost of your ticket.
Cancellations: 7 days or more from event: Mercato will provide store credit equivalent to the full cost of your ticket for cancellations that occur from the time you purchase your ticket up to 7 days before the event.
Within 7 days of event: Event bookings cancelled within 7 days of the event date are strictly non-refundable.
