Marzichi-Lenzi
Tenuta di Biserno is the culmination of a lifelong passion project for Lodovico Antinori, one of the most influential figures in modern Italian wine. After helping establish Bolgheri as a world-class wine region through Ornellaia and Masseto, Lodovico became captivated by a rugged, untamed stretch of land in Bibbona on Tuscany’s Upper Maremma coast. Recognising its unique potential, he returned to the site in 2001 and, together with his brother Piero Antinori and nephew Niccolò Marzichi Lenzi, established Tenuta di Biserno. Drawing on centuries of Antinori family winemaking experience, the project was founded on a shared belief that this remarkable landscape could produce wines of exceptional character and individuality.
Today, Tenuta di Biserno is regarded as one of coastal Tuscany’s most prestigious estates, producing wines that reflect both the richness of the Mediterranean landscape and the vision of its founders. Insoglio del Cinghiale represents the estate’s more approachable side, capturing the vibrancy, generosity and freshness of the Maremma while remaining true to the elegance and precision that define the Biserno philosophy.
