Up next in our Masterclass Series, we're thrilled to welcome Aldo Vacca - Managing Director of Produttori del Barbaresco.
Produttori del Barbaresco, founded in 1958 by parish priest Don Fiorino Marengo, is one of the defining estates of Barbaresco and a benchmark for traditional Nebbiolo. Established as a cooperative of 19 growers-now more than 50 farming prime vineyards around the village of Barbaresco-the winery was created so local families could vinify and bottle their own fruit rather than sell it off, preserving both quality and identity. Today it remains devoted exclusively to Nebbiolo and to expressing the character of Barbaresco DOCG.
For this masterclass, Produttori offers an exceptional lens on terroir and structure. In classic vintages, it releases a Barbaresco alongside a range of single-vineyard Riservas from historic crus such as Pora, Rabajà, and Ovello, each vinified separately but crafted in a consistent, traditional style with long macerations and aging in large oak botti. The result is a transparent, age-worthy expression of site and vintage, making the wines ideal for illustrating cru character, structure, and the timeless profile of Barbaresco.

Event Changes: If unforeseen circumstances require us to change or cancel an event, Mercato will happily reimburse the full cost of your ticket.
Cancellations: 7 days or more from event: Mercato will provide store credit equivalent to the full cost of your ticket for cancellations that occur from the time you purchase your ticket up to 7 days before the event.
Within 7 days of event: Event bookings cancelled within 7 days of the event date are strictly non-refundable.
