Tasting note:
Long ageing in oak barriques changes the flavour characteristics of fine grappa. This 20 year old grappa di Barolo shows more developed characters of pepper, cloves, nutmeg and tobacco. The palate is powerful but balanced with complexity and finesse and shows jam, canned fruit, baked apple, prune, raisin, almond and walnut.
