On the far north-western tip of Sicily and sitting above the ancient city of Erice, are the beautiful vineyards striving to produce wines of expression and typicity. Older, low yielding vines that are farmed organically and painstakingly hand-harvested, here are an expression of love for an ancient way of life in an ancient land.  Andrea Sartori has been a pioneer in Organic viticulture and the vineyards have been certified Organic for up to thirty years.

Tasting note:

Clear pale ruby garnet appearance. Pronounced blackberry, red cherry and vanilla and black tea on the nose. Dry, medium to high acidity. Medium tannin. Sour cherry, blackberry, blueberry, smokey oak and leather on the palate with a medium finish.
