Venetian Winter Warmer Cooking Class July

These dishes are the warm embrace we all need in Winter!

Winter has well and truly set in here in Adelaide so to heat things up, Bar Mercato are hosting an interactive cooking class and a meal that will please every mouth it meets. After a welcoming Prosecco and appetiser, Head Chef Nick Bergin will demonstrate and serve his Baccala Mantecato (whipped salted cod) to give you a taste of Venice and start your evening off with a burst of flavours. As Cauliflower is in season, Chef Nick will guide you through a dish encompassing a combination of ingredients that will light up the eyes of every guest at the table: Polenta with whole roasted Cauliflower and Taleggio Cheese. To finish your evening on a sweet note, you will then prepare and indulge in an appetising dessert.

Pairing wines will be available for purchase on the night to compliment your learning and enjoyment of this very special Winter meal!

Event changes: If unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19 restrictions, require us to cancel an event or change an event date, Mercato will happily reimburse the full cost of your ticket.

7 days or more from event: Mercato will provide store credit equivalent to the full cost of your ticket for cancellations that occur from the time you purchase your ticket up to 7 days before the event.
Within 7 days of event: Event bookings cancelled within 7 days of the event date are strictly non-refundable.
