Dolce Masterclass | Thursday 25th March

It’s dessert time – or dolce for us Italians!  Our Dolce Masterclass will equip you with all of the tips and tricks you need to become an Italian dolce expert.  

On March 25 our head chef, Nick Bergin, will guide you through how to make three traditional Italian desserts.  First up, the Casatelle Trapanese, crescents of dough filled with divine, sweet ricotta and chocolate, followed by a delicious seasonal fruit and custard crostata – think of a stunning fruit and custard tart, Italian style.  And, to finish the class, you will learn how to make a Sicilian cannoli – who doesn’t love the tube-shaped pastry shells filled with ricotta?

You’ll kick off with a glass of prosecco on arrival and then after the cooking you will enjoy a three course Italian feast, including Mercato’s best antipasto, our house-made lasagne, and to finish the meal, your own Casatelle Trapanese.
