Cuca has been producing preserved seafood in The Rías Baixas since 1932. This fertile area, located close to the Portuguese boarder, is where 80% of Spain's preserved seafood hails from.
Unlike cheaper competitors, Cuca only harvest seasonally. This ensures sustainability as well as a full flavoured, mature product.
Cuca Anchovy Fillets are salt-fermented in the traditional manner before being packed and tinned in olive oil. Found in the cold waters off Cantabria, these anchovies have a high fat content that, along with the short curing process employed at Cuca, results in a fresher, creamier anchovy.
