In 1904 a co-operative winery called Ai Vino Delle Langhe was founded and a young man who worked there was one Alfred Prunotto. Prunotto took over the estate in 1922, giving it his own name and today it is run under the umbrella of the famous Marchesi Antinori family. Located in Alba the estate tends around 50 hectares of vineyards throughout the Langhe and Monferrato hills. In short, these are classic Piedmont wines produced with style by the Antinori family.
Tasting note: Bright, blueberry skin, citrus, nutmeg and fresh herbs. Light to medium body, fresh acidity and an easy going finish.

Soil Composition: Calcareous clays
Production: Grapes were brought to the cellar for destemming and crushing. Grapes were left to macerate on the skins for 7 days at a maximum temperature of 27–28 °C (81-82 °F). Malolactic fermentation was completed by mid December. The wine was aged in stainless steel tanks for several months. Dolcetto was bottled in spring.
