Carlo and Enzo Revello, who took over from their father from 1990. They specialize in their home commune of La Morra, for the production of various Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo wines, including parts of La Morra‘s most famous crus, Gattera‘, Giachini‘ and the great Rocche dell‘Annunziata‘. These are really bright, fruity and complex wines.
The 2016 Barolo Conca is dense and voluptuous to the core. Black cherry, plum, mocha, chocolate and spices meld together in a sumptuous, textured Barolo built on pure volume. The richness of the fruit nearly buries the tannin in the Conca, the ripest and biggest of these Barolos.
